The Harness Assist (Upgrade) will retrofit to any harness and is designed to minimise the effects of suspension trauma. It can be retrofitted to your harness in the field by looping it through the sternal fall-arrest point with a larks foot, feed it over the shoulder and mount on a chest strap.
In the event of a fall an adjustable twin foot loop is manually deployed allowing the user to stand and transfer their weight directly to the anchor point greatly relieving pressure from the harness – one of the major contributing factors to suspension trauma symptoms.
It is neatly packaged and concealed within a small, unobtrusive pack which is fitted to the harness close to the user’s chest.
