Delivery Terms

During the promo period, most of our items and orders are eligible for free shipping...

  • Minimum order for free shipping: over $500 (does not include freight cost)  (some items are not eligible, e.g. typically bulky items)
  • Limited time only
  • Economy freight only (e.g. Australia Post e-parcel)
    (premium freight upgrades can be purchased at appropriate cost by contacting us)
  • Orders placed through only
  • Remote areas may not be eligible especially if order contains hazardous goods or is unusually bulky
    (if this is the case, we'll contact you with actual freight cost and give you the option to continue your order or receive a refund)#

Shipping Method

 We use Australia Post eParcel for almost all deliveries. Freight costs are calculated at checkout, before payment is made. We deliver nation-wide, including external territories & remote areas where possible#. Our delivery fees include picking, packing, packaging and shipping costs to ensure you get your items undamaged and ready to use.We offer a standard packing, handling and eParcel shipping fee of $14.90 on most orders*. This includes Australia Post's tracking.


 While eParcel Express Post is available, it does not speed up the handling and packing of your order, it only changes the shipping method to Express Post.
Also, Express Post isn't overnight for all locations; and not all products are eligible.
So we may not be able to ship overnight - please contact us to check availability and ask for Express Post.

Order Cut-Off Time:

Australia Post collect all parcels from our warehouse at 2:00pm daily, so orders need to be received in the morning to ensure they can be picked, packed and manifested before 2:00pm. Typically this means receiving your order by 11:00am.

Authority To Leave/Re-delivery:

By default we require signature on most deliveries for the safety of your goods. If you require "Authority To Leave" your parcel, so as it is left on your doorstep, you should contact us first to confirm.
If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, we will recharge the delivery fee when re-sending the parcel.  Please see our full terms & conditions for re-delivery fee information.

*Bulky/Hazardous Items:

Some bulky or hazardous items require special delivery services as they exceed what Australia Post can handle, and are excluded from our "FREE SHIPPING & HANDLING". The bulky items are typically Carton quantities, Large Pelican Cases, Pelican Elite Luggage, Trimcast SpaceCases, Large Remote Area Lighting Units, Bulk Liquids, Installable Equipment (e.g. davits, ladder systems), and Mobile Crane Hoists.  Extremely remote locations might attract extra shipping costs that we can't easily predict (see # below) - if this is the case we'll contact you after you tell us your order details.

#External Territories & Remote Areas:

Large or Hazardous items to remote areas may attract extra shipping charges. If that is the case we'll notify you and you'll have the choice to continue your order or to cancel & refund. For example:

  • Far North Queensland
  • Central and Northern WA
  • Central Australia and NT
  • External territories/islands and offshore

The following Australian External Territories may, or may not, be able to ship to - if this is the case, we'll refund you:

  • Cocos (Keeling) Islands
  • Antarctica
  • Christmas Island
  • Norfolk Island


Because we use eParcel, you can now control the delivery of your order, direct with Australia Post. Most of the services are free, including re-directing the parcel to another address, re-delivering, adding an 'authority to leave' and more. All commercial quantity/pricing quotations are not included in our "FLAT-RATE SHIPPING & HANDLING" offer or any free freight offer and will have shipping amounts specified as part of the terms of the quotation by our Commercial Sales Team.

^ Absafe has no control over or access to MyPOST services and cannot control fees or charges that Australia Post may charge you for additional services related to this delivery.

Authority To Leave Rules and Charges:

All carriers, including Australia Post, and all courier services used, i.e. Toll IPEC or StarTrack; by default have every consignment marked "Signature Only", and orders will not be left at your door.

Please ensure you are home to receive your order, we send tracking emails so you know which day to expect your order. IF you ask us for "Authority to Leave" then once an order is delivered to your address, all responsibility is the buyers, the couriers are not responsible because the "Authority To Leave" has been given.

If signature is required and you do not collect/sign for the item, or if your parcel is incorrectly addressed and your parcel is returned to a depot or our warehouse, we are charged up to $50 re-delivery fees, which we then need to pass on to you before each attempted re-delivery. Processing of your order confirms acceptance of re-delivery fees, and we may process them against the credit card used at the time of purchase or charge seperately. If you used PayPal we will submit a PayPal request for payment that needs to be paid prior to re-delivery.
