The new Purelite Xstream lightweight battery powered airshield is a self-contained, Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) providing all-in-one respiratory protection against dust, fumes and particulates, combined with eye and face protection against impact and liquid splash.
The integrated re-chargeable nickel metal hydride (NiMH) battery pack delivers a supply of clean air via a pair of high efficiency P2 particulate filters for up to 8 hours of continuous use.
There is no need for separate eye, face, and respiratory protection – the Purelite Xstream provides these safety requirements in one easily donned unit, combining comfort and economy.
The Standard Pack PureLite Xstream comes complete with:
- 1 x Purelite XStream Powered Airshield
- 1 x Battery pack
- 1 x Standard battery charger
- 1 x Pair of P2 filters
- 1 x Face-seal

This is the third KATT portable ladder support bracket I have purchased from Absafe. The other two were for wall fixing, whereas this one is for roof edge fixing. It is made of aluminium plate to be compatible with Zincalume roof sheeting. I have had it powder coated to match the roof sheeting and for added corrosion protection. This is a serious value-for-money bit of kit. If you’re new to roof safety, a conscientious DIYer, or a veteran who needs some new gear - this is probably for you! If you need a rescue system after a fall, you’ll need more than this kit.
