Cutting stone or concrete? New Silica rebates

Cutting stone or concrete? New Silica rebates

Silicosis can be fatal within five to 10 years – sometimes for people as young as 20 or 30. Uncontrolled dry cutting and grinding is prohibited. Safe Work NSW is now offering rebates on silica protection equipment, and on health monitoring. There are rebates for manufactured stone businesses, and also for all eligible businesses.

Other states are also acting strongly on Silica.

There's more great information at Safe Work NSW or your local safety authority
