Two steel S-hooks offer simple connection through Raptor Foot holes or around the Flat Foot joint.
An integral adjustable keeper strap is provided to mind excess web tail and packs neatly when stored.
Strap adjusts in length up to 20 feet for between-leg spans that may require running hobbles over objects such as beams, curbs, stumps, rocks or uneven ground.
Independent hobbles are now a UL certification requirement when using the AZ Vortex in its tripod configuration.
I purchased this because a friend in the mining industry recommended it. He knew I was sanding back a lot of resin work during the April school holidays. It was easy to assemble, use and breathe in. I was impressed with how clean the air was during use. I also like how it wicks sweat and condensation away from the face. This respirator is an excellent design and product.
