Skylotec BFD Y Flex twin elastic lanyard
The elasticised webbing BFD Personal Energy Absorbing range are all designed to effectively arrest a fall whilst minimising the shock loads on the body. The 'Tear Tape' technology shock pack provides a mechanism that utilises a controlled tearing action that is initiated when the lanyard is 'loaded' during the fall and limits the fall arrest forces to below 6kN.
- Elasticised 35mm web.
- The shock pack features a unique Velcro attached cover that is removable to both protect the label pack conveniently sewn into the tear tape material and allow visible inspection of the inner "tear tape" shock absorbing web.
- Twin Leg.
- 60mm steel scaffold hooks on anchoring point side.
- 23mm 16kN gate double action snap hook on belt side.

This is the third KATT portable ladder support bracket I have purchased from Absafe. The other two were for wall fixing, whereas this one is for roof edge fixing. It is made of aluminium plate to be compatible with Zincalume roof sheeting. I have had it powder coated to match the roof sheeting and for added corrosion protection.
