The PETZL ASAP LOCK w/ ASAP'SORBER with ASAP'sorber mobile fall arrester is designed primarily as a back-up device for rope access. In normal use, the device moves freely along the rope following the user. In case of shock or sudden movement, the ASAP locks on the rope and stops the user. The locking function allows the user to immobilise the device while working, to reduce the length of a fall. The ASAP LOCK with ASAP'sorber is supplied with either the 20 cm or 40 cm PETZL ASAP'SORBER

This is the third KATT portable ladder support bracket I have purchased from Absafe. The other two were for wall fixing, whereas this one is for roof edge fixing. It is made of aluminium plate to be compatible with Zincalume roof sheeting. I have had it powder coated to match the roof sheeting and for added corrosion protection.
